A Self-less Love
Today at school,Ilearned that one of my friends that I have known since 4th grade is being forced to move out of the house. He was adopted when he was in 3rd and he never clicked with his Baptist adopted parents. His mom feels like he doesn't respect her enough, so she's making her SOPHMORE SON move out by the end of May. No financial support, nothing. I really feel for him, I mean, he's known to speak his mind, and that has often gotten him into trouble, but it's not always a bad thing....
So we asked him where he was going to go, and he has a little bit of money saved up from different things, and he might try to rent in Aledo or something.
So I talked to my mother about this, and I know it wouldn't be the brightest idea to have a sophmore guy stay at our house, we have the space, but it might not be good at least until my door can fully close.
But before I even got the words out, my mom comes back with "Well I know I wouldn't be willing to take him in, but I sure hope someone does."
It was then that I realized that we sit around never doing things ourselves, but wish that someone will do something about it. But the problem about this is that everyone thinks this way. For once I want to experience a self-less, unconditional love.
I know that God is always there for me,and he loves me like this, but I want an example in my life. I want to demonstrate this self-less love in MY life.
But for now, I'm just a lonely blogger....
