Things I've Learned This Week

This week started out being the worst week of my life and ended as the best. So here's what I learned from it....
1. Some stores have a horse kids can ride on. Some stores have a rock. Some stores have a CAR for goodness sakes. Shoe Carnival has....a shoe.
2. Good intentions are rarely seen as good intentions.
3. If people don't want you to know something, don't push it. You probably don't want to know either.
4. Good friends are hard to find and even harder to be.
5. Dads don't like guys interested in their daughters, and the guys can't do anything about that. But, it doesn't hurt anything when the guy calls the father to ask if he can take his daughter to homecoming:)....
6. Mops are heavy when wet, but that makes it more fun when your'e having a contest of how high you can mop on the wall. (We had a cleaning day Wednesday)
7. I get excited when they let us wear denim skirts to school. Other people don't care. They get to wear pants all the time.Big Whoop.
8. It's fun to eat 13 cookies in study hall. It's even more fun when you don't get caught, but no matter what, it would have been better if we had milk.
9. They're aren't many deserts that don't contain flour and sugar. My teachers on a diet, so a going away party was a little hard.
10. The Pepsi machine just doesn't like me.

The best part of the week was when Dave called my dad and asked him if he could take me to homecoming and then asked me. THAT was this week's turning point.
