SPRING BREAK-IN!!!!

Wow. This week has been.... interesting. It's so weird to think that I waisted it.... and that I'm actually very happy about that. Monday I shopped, Tuesday hung out, Wednesday, took care of my mother in her illness, Thursday shopped more, and Friday attempted to blog about it.
First of all.... I really do not like shopping all that much. I realized it this week with all of my trips to the mall. Ugh.
I completely finished my second semester term paper, two points for me.
I got my hair cut. It looks so short to me. You probably wouldn't even be able to tell, but I keep rubbing it, hoping it will grow back. Oh well.
Hung out with the bf.
ate, slept in, I feel so lazy but it feels
SO GOOD!!!!

SPRING BREAK '06!!!!

So I'm not going anywhere for spring break, but I LOVE the thought of going to bed at night, knowing that it doesn't matter if I wake up in time, or doing my hair, or ironing a skirt....

I LOVE IT!!!!

Today, I was looking in the bathroom, and my mom has a new bottle of gel. It's called VAVOOM!!!! but under the title, it says "hold my body."

It's amazing how I'm amused by things like that, even when I shouldn't be.

Today I watched "King Kong" with Dave. It was three hours and eight minutes long. I don't think I liked it that much.

A Funeral (or visitation), not of someone you necessarily know (or knew) very well, but you know beyond a shadow of a doubt that they were a Christian and you knew where they were going. Everyone (for the most part) looks like they died themselves, in their dark, dressy clothes. SO you know they were a Christian and it was time for them to die (hate to be morbid, but....). They were in a lot of pain towards the end and they are honestly in a better place where their pain is gone. So why is everyone sad????
Are they honestly morning the dead person?
No, in all honesty, if they really loved the person, they are mourning their life without that person. They miss the person. They want to spend one more day with that person. They honored and respected that person so much, that they are sad at their funeral. The person that looks so dead in the coffin is actually more alive that ever in Christ.
We mourn for ourselves. They mean something to us.
So what does that have to do with anything????

Live your life in such a way that you will be missed and mourned at your funeral, while you rejoice like never before.

I take back my congrats, no offense WhitDog, but even anonomous claims you cheated(even though I have reason to believe that was you.) I was mislead by the scoreboard that i had no witness of.

When I think of spring, I think of Easter,candy, toys R us commercials, stuffed bunnies, puppies, cute skirts and outfits things blooming, flip-flops, everything new, fresh, exciting.... But TODAY is March 21st. YESTERDAY was the Vernal equinox (all things being approximate)
but TODAY I woke up to snow. I had to trade in my polo shirt for long sleeves and the short skirt for a longer one. Not that I'm complaining for forgetting to check the forecast, but naturally I assumed it to be warm.

Better go scrape the windshield and get the coat out of the closet

I don't know how to say this.... but um.... Dave and I our official. Yeah. I have a boyfriend. BUT all that aside....

I think it's awesome that WhitDog got a 100 on my quiz. Very exciting. In other news, I think that both of my parents are going to China this summer for a missions trip. I'll be staying with my Aunt K. I'm excited. She's a lot of fun.
